Position:
HSE Section Head
Role:
Ensures regulatory compliance with the health, safety & security measures required by the Egyptian laws.
Duties:
- Create and update health and safety
policies and procedures based on relevant laws, regulations, and industry
standards and ensure that policies are communicated effectively to all
employees.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits
to assess compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Identify hazards and risks and
recommend corrective actions to mitigate potential dangers.
- Develop and deliver training programs
to educate employees on health and safety protocols, procedures, and best
practices to promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
- Establish an incident reporting system
and investigate accidents, near misses, and other safety incidents.
- Analyze root causes and implement
measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and implement risk management
strategies, including engineering controls, administrative controls, and
personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first aid protocols, and crisis management strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness
of health and safety programs and identify areas for improvement and implement
changes to enhance the organization's safety performance.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree prefer Engineering or Science
5 to 7 years of experience in similar role
Risk & Crisis management skills
Awareness of legal laws and regulations
ISO System 45001 and 5001
OSHA Certification
